We at Island Luck have a moral, social and business responsibility to promote responsible gaming throughout the Bahamas. Employees at Island Luck are trained to recognize and respond appropriately when a client’s gaming problem has become evident.
If you feel that you have a gaming problem and need assistance, we are here to help. Reading material regarding the problems associated with gaming are available at all Island Luck locations and on our website. Our voluntary self-exclusion program is also available on property as well as on our website.
The program was established to allow persons who may have a gambling problem to voluntarily exclude themselves from gaming activities at Island Luck and all gaming facilities throughout the Bahamas.
You may obtain information about the self-exclusion program and an application form for self-exclusion by visiting any Island Luck owned and operated facilities and requesting to see the Manage on Duty. This information can also be found on our website. You must physically enter an Island Luck location and complete the application for self-exclusion and present it to the relevant Island Luck personnel with an acceptable form of identification (indicated on the application).
After you have been placed on the self-exclusion list, Island Luck personnel may refuse to accept your wagers or ask you to leave the premises entirely. Should you refuse to leave the premises the Island Luck personnel may contact the Royal Bahamas Police Force and have you arrested on the charges of trespassing. If you do gamble you will be unable to collect any winnings or recover any losses. You will not be allowed to participate in any promotions carried out by Island Luck.
The period of self-exclusion is your decision entirely. When you request self-exclusion, you are given the option of choosing a period of one year, five years or lifetime. Where applicable, your time expires after the period chosen has passed.
